MacPherson struts and M3 lower strut mounts are required.
The mounting bolt is positioned horizontally. On standard models, the lower strut mount uses a rubber bushing, which cannot be used here.
The kit widens the car by 85 mm per side, eliminating the need for wheel spacers.
Recommended wheel parameters:
18″ 10.5j ET0 to ET20
With ET0 wheels, the total width equals our front kit with 18″ 8.5j ET30 wheels (measured at the bottom of the wheel).
The V2 kit is much lighter than our first kit for BMW E9x/E8x.
The weight difference is as much as 8.5 kg, while maintaining full strength.
The 8 control arms are fully adjustable, allowing you to set all parameters.
The 2 control arms that attach the shock absorbers are fixed by design. This prevents adjustment outside the safe ranges, ensuring that each uniball has its threaded part properly seated in the control arm bushing.
The steering knuckles allow for adjustment of the toe geometry and lower traction rods under load.
The kit provides excellent traction and even tire wear.
The steering knuckles include mounts for 2 standard brake calipers per wheel from the E90, E91, E92, E81, E82, and E87 models.
As a budget option, we recommend brakes from the E9x 335D version.
We have removed the M-Power brake mounts.
Due to the widened rear axle, half-shaft adapters are required on the differential side.
The kit does not include adapters because too many different differentials were used in these BMW models.
