JE Pistons 296932 – forged piston kit Toyota 2JZ-GTE / 2JZ-GE
The JE 296932 kit is designed for turbocharged 2JZ engines that demand reliable power at very high boost. Each piston is forged from 2618-T6 aluminium, machined with JE’s asymmetrical FSR skirt design and protected by low-friction coatings, giving you strength, low weight and excellent ring seal up to—and beyond—four-digit horsepower levels.

Installation notes
- Maintain at least 0.10 mm piston-to-wall clearance for street; increase per JE chart for high-boost race use.
- Verify valve-to-piston clearance if using cams over 11 mm lift.
- Gap rings to target boost: ≈ 0.14 mm per 25 psi for top ring.
- Use high-zinc 5W-40 or 15W-50 oil and shorten change intervals on engines above 800 hp.
