ULTIMAX2 car brake pads are designed for passenger cars, including Van and SUV type models (4x4). This type of EBC pad is made from the highest quality friction materials, meeting the requirements of the ECE R90 brake safety standards. They are a very good replacement for factory pads, at a very affordable price. The pads are manufactured with anti-vibration shims, chamfered edges, an expansion slot and a unique brake-in coating, providing an exceptionally short bedding-in time. The advantage of EBC pads is their ability to eliminate judder under braking - after just the first 450-600 km of mileage they practically compensate for moderate-intensity judder. EBC friction linings reduce brake disc wear by 50% compared to more abrasive semi-metallic materials. With original replacement parts, it is quite common to need to replace the brake discs with every pad change, whereas with EBC products the brake disc can survive two sets of pads, giving significant savings. And this does not mean that the pads wear out faster.
