MTuning Workshop — where passion meets performance

In the world of motoring there is no room for compromise. Every modification should increase a car's performance while guaranteeing reliability and safety — because a car that makes one spectacular run and comes home on a flatbed is not a fast car. It is an unfinished project. That is exactly the thinking behind MTuning Workshop — a shop built by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts.

Experience backed by practice

Behind every project stands knowledge built over years of working with sports cars, street cars and builds put together for drifting, circuit racing and motorsport. We don't rely on manufacturers' catalogues alone — we test solutions ourselves and we know which parts perform in the real world and which ones only look good on a spec sheet.

The difference is simple. A catalogue will tell you how much air a given turbocharger flows. It won't tell you how it behaves after twenty minutes at high revs and high temperatures, or whether it will work with the rest of the set-up already in your car. You only find that out once you've built it, driven it, then taken it apart to see what happened.

It is this hands-on experience that lets us select components and propose solutions matched to a specific car and to what its owner actually expects — instead of repeating the same parts list on every build.

We don't just fit parts — we design them!

Our work doesn't stop at selecting and installing off-the-shelf components. We design parts ourselves, test them and bring new solutions to market. One rule applies here and we make no exceptions to it: every new component goes into our own cars first, and only after passing extreme testing does it go on sale.

That is a difference you won't see in a catalogue, but it decides everything. The part that ends up in your car has already been through our workshop, through builds put together for drift and motorsport, and very often through a full season of real-world use. If something isn't going to hold up, we are the ones who find out — not a customer out on track.

The best example of that proving ground is our own demo car — a Nissan GT-R R35 with a 2JZ swap producing 1,200 hp. It is both the shop's calling card and the harshest test environment we could ask for: if a solution works there, it will cope with any other build.

The brands we develop

Behind this approach are our own parts brands — designed, tested and brought to market by us:

  • TurboWorks — turbochargers, intake and exhaust systems, intercoolers and forced-induction hardware
  • Slide — drift and motorsport components, used in our own builds as well
  • RS Ultimate — performance parts and motorsport accessories
  • Staffa — strut braces, roll bars and roll cages

Because we stand on both sides — designing the parts and building cars with them — we know far more about them than any spec sheet reveals.

Complete modifications — from the first part to the finished car

Whether you are planning a mild increase in performance or a build from the ground up, you can count on professional support. The scope of our work includes, among other things:

Forced induction: turbochargers and intercoolers

Fitting a turbocharger isn't swapping a single component — it changes the way the engine breathes. We select the turbo for the rev range the car will actually be used in, not for the highest number on paper. Add to that an intercooler with the right capacity: compressed air has to be cooled effectively, otherwise high temperatures and pulled ignition timing eat up the entire gain from boost.

Intake and exhaust systems

We build and fit intake and exhaust systems matched to a specific engine configuration. On heavily boosted cars this is very often the bottleneck of the whole project — a badly routed manifold or a restrictive exhaust can wipe out several dozen horsepower that the owner then goes looking for somewhere else entirely.

Engines: component upgrades and full builds

We replace engine internals and prepare units for higher boost pressures — pistons, connecting rods, cylinder head components and valvetrain parts. One iron rule applies here: the weakest element in the system sets the safe power limit for the entire car. That's why we plan an engine build around its target output from the start, not around the figure that will do for now.

Motorsport: from concept to a running dream

We prepare cars for motorsport and build them from end to end — from the concept and platform choice, through fabrication, wiring and tuning, all the way to the first runs. It's the most demanding part of our work and at the same time the part we enjoy most, because every earlier decision shows up in the result.

Servicing and upgrading existing projects

Not every car arrives with a clean sheet. Very often we take in projects started elsewhere — to be finished, put right or taken to the next stage. With every one of them we begin with an honest assessment of what is already in the car before we suggest anything new.

We treat every car individually — no two projects are the same.

Quality first, because power is only half the equation!

Tuning isn't only about power. The durability of the whole set-up matters just as much. That's why we use proven parts from established manufacturers alongside our own products — and both only once they have stood the test of time on the street and on track.

An extra hundred horsepower in a car that will cover tens of thousands more kilometres is worth far more than two hundred horsepower in a car that has to be stripped down after its first season. Tuning should be a thrill every time you start the engine, not a list of faults to work through.

Facilities that genuinely shorten lead times

Thanks to MTuning's own supply base we have thousands of parts available off the shelf, which significantly shortens the turnaround on many projects. In practice it means we don't put a build on hold for weeks over a single missing component, and your car doesn't sit stripped down in the workshop any longer than it has to.

More than installation — advice from the first conversation

A good workshop is, above all, good advice. Before we start any work, we go through the customer's needs, the car's intended use and the budget.

We ask about the things that genuinely shape a project: whether the car will be driven on the road or used exclusively on track, how many events it needs to complete in a season, how much power is actually required and how much simply sounds good. The result is well-considered projects developed in stages, with no random decisions and no money spent on parts that will have to be swapped for stronger ones six months later.

How we work, step by step

  1. Conversation and goal setting. We establish what the car is for, how much power is realistically needed and what budget we're working with.
  2. Project plan. We propose a specific combination of components and, if the build is to happen gradually, a breakdown into stages.
  3. Sourcing the parts. We draw on MTuning's warehouse, which means most components are available off the shelf.
  4. Build and installation. Mechanical work, wiring, matching the systems to one another and checks at every stage.
  5. Start-up, testing and ongoing care. The car comes back to us for inspections and for the next stages of the project.

Builds that speak for us

The best calling card any workshop has is the cars that leave it. Our demo car — a Nissan GT-R R35 with a 2JZ engine swap — took over a year and a half to build and today makes 1,200 hp and 1,200 Nm of torque, with no nitrous.

We are also closely tied to the region's car scene — the MTuning.pl brand organises the Speed Show Rzeszów motoring event. For us it's a natural place to meet the people we build cars for.

Frequently asked questions

Does tuning always shorten an engine's life?

It doesn't have to. What shortens engine life is badly planned tuning — raising boost pressure without strengthening the internals, without sorting out cooling and without providing adequate fuel delivery. A project thought through at system level can be both powerful and durable.

Can I spread the build over several stages?

Yes, and very often that's exactly what we recommend. Staging spreads the cost over time and, more importantly, lets you test the car after each step before moving on to the next. The key is to draw up the plan for the whole build at the outset — that way no stage turns out to be wasted work.

Do you take on cars started at another workshop?

Yes. Servicing and upgrading existing projects is a regular part of our work. In those cases we start with a thorough assessment of the car's actual condition, so we know what can be kept and what needs putting right before going any further.

How long does a motorsport build take?

That depends above all on the scope of work and the starting condition of the car. A straightforward performance package takes considerably less time than a comprehensive ground-up build. For comparison: our own 2JZ-powered GT-R took over a year and a half, but it was an extremely advanced project built from scratch.

What determines the cost of a project?

The car's intended use, the target power figure, the starting condition of the vehicle and the quality of the components we want to use in it. That's why every quote starts with a conversation — without one, any figure we gave you would be pure guesswork.
